Talking About Trinity’s Story on WFMD Radio

This week, I had the honor of joining Chris Michaels on WFMD 930AM in Frederick to talk about Trinity’s story and the mission behind Trinity’s Children. Chris is a great guy, a true pro on the mic, a proud Jets fan from the Bronx, and someone who genuinely cares about the community.

During our conversation, we talked about how Trinity’s Children began in the aftermath of losing my daughter, Trinity Viola Ripley, to a fentanyl overdose in 2023. I shared how that loss reshaped our lives and gave us a mission to turn our family’s pain into purpose. Our goal is simple but urgent: to raise awareness, educate families, and prevent another family from experiencing the same heartbreak.

We also discussed the work we have been doing across Frederick County and beyond, attending community events, giving talks, and building partnerships that connect prevention, education, and compassion.

Every chance to tell Trinity’s story helps us reach someone new, and maybe even save a life. I am grateful to Chris and the WFMD team for giving us that platform and helping spread our message of hope and healing.
